Psychotherapy

I have experience working with adults and adolescents with a variety of concerns, including: mood concerns, relationship issues, grief and loss, chronic illness, healthcare worker burnout, and trauma (chronic, acute, and religious trauma).

While I work with clients managing a myriad of syptoms and of various identities, I specialize in the following populations: new chronic illness diagnosis: individuals newly coping with a diagnosis of chronic illness, with a special interest in teens and tweens coping with a new diagnosis of diabetes or their caregivers, healthcare workers, LGBTQIA+, and those suffering from religious trauma.

Clinical supervision

I am especially passionate about helping social workers in healthcare settings deepen their clinical skills to bring to that work, or transition to roles in psychotherapy. I believe that healthcare workers have so much to offer in the role of psychotherapy. I would love to work with medical social workers working toward their licensure or building a psychotherapy practice. Together we can deepen therapeutic practice, especially through the lenses of psychodynamic, relational, and attachment theory, while also noticing social justice and feminist understandings of the world.
